PATRICIA FERNANDES Certified Iyengar Yoga Instructor Yoga has been a central part of Patricia’s life since she began her studies of Iyengar yoga in the mid 1980s. Attracted to the way yoga promotes the integration of body, mind and spirit through the Iyengar tradition, Patricia earned her first teaching certificate in 1999. She continues her education and has studied at the Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institute in Pune, India. Her yoga classes encourage students to challenge themselves and reap the benefits of a robust asana practice. Off the mat, Patricia can be found on the water coaching a women’s recreational dragon boat team. KRISTY WRIGHT RYT-200hr Foundation Flow with YYoga, 80hr YHot, on-going Power Vinyasa Flow training with Baron Baptiste Through a sequence of asanas (postures), Kristy’s goal is for each student to find that place within themselves that has been dormant. She believes that yoga is about an awakening and that we all have the strength and the ability to do amazing things, but sometimes just need a little help finding it. Yoga is not just about the postures, it’s simply about coming to the mat and she hopes to help you find that something that keeps you coming back for more. Students are encouraged to do what ‘feels’ right and to play with their edge. Kristy’s classes inspires students to open up, play, laugh and enjoy while exploring how postures make them feel and breathe from movement to movement
