Quest 3×3 Basketball World Tour


Your Pathway to the FIBA 3×3 World Tour

July 1 and 2, 2017 is the Western Canadian Regional event to qualify for the 3X3 Canada Quest Finals and then the World Tour!

The FIBA 3×3 World Tour will take place July 14 – 16, 2017 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Saskatoon’s own foursome of Michael Linklater, Michael Lieffers, Nolan Brudehl and Willie Murdaugh will participate in the tournament.

In the lead up to the 3×3 World Tour, seven regional events will take place across the country as part of Canada Basketball’s 3×3 Canada Quest series. The winners of the elite division in each of the seven regionals, along with an additional wild card team, will qualify for the 3×3 Canada Quest Finals. The top two Finals teams will then qualify directly to the FIBA 3×3 World Tour in Saskatoon.

Richmond Olympic Oval – Canada West Regional
July 1 & 2, 2017

The Richmond Olympic Oval will be hosting a Men’s and Women’s Open Basketball Regional Qualifier. 16 Men’s teams and 8 Women’s teams will vie for the title of the Richmond Olympic Oval 3×3 Basketball Champion.

Winner’s of the Open categories will receive a $500.00 cash prize with the Men’s team also winning an all expense paid trip to Edmonton to participate in the Canada Quest 3×3 National Championship July 8, 9 2017.

Women’s Open division will play a round robin on day 1 with a single knock out on day 2.

Men’s Open division will play round robin on day 1. Day 2 the men’s division will be split into top (Open) and bottom (Div 1) knock out tournaments.

The Open Division will have 1st and 2nd place of each pool (top 8 teams) advancing single knock out bracket to establish the Champion, Cash Prize Winner and the Team moving Forward to the National Championship.

Div 1 knock-out will have 3rd and 4th place of each pool (bottom 8 teams) advancing to a single knock out bracket to win the Div 1 (consolation) Men’s Championship.
