ACTIVATE Court Kids 6 – 9 YRS, CO-ED ACTIVATE Court Kids makes use of our Activity Level with games and fun drills that introduce a multitude of sport skills. Like all ACTIVATE programs, movement qualities and characteristics will be trained along with sport fundamentals including basketball, soccer, badminton, baseball and more. ACTIVATE programming incorporates age-appropriate activities and environments to develop the physical, mental, and emotional components of each young athlete. Lessons will instill the importance of daily play and physical activity, teaching the ABCs (agility, balance, coordination, and speed), and RJT (running, jumping, and throwing). The Science: - Windows of Development in Hand and Foot speed by training Fundamental Movement Skills - Developing physical literacy early on increases the likely hood of continuing with sport and benefits thereof The Soul: - Fun! We want each participant to have a positive and enjoyable experience with physical activity. If children continue to participate in physical activity they initiate a cycle of physical health and development that includes self-confidence and the achievement orientation.

GENERATE programs are designed to foster advanced development in a fun environment which encourages character building and self esteem. The main objective is to create pathways for both recreational participants and young athletes who want to pursue excellence. An introduction to proper strength and flexibility development is an imperative component to Oval Kids GENERATE programming. The Science: - Windows of Development in for gross motor skills – sport fundamentals are readily acquired in this age – repetitions are very important. - Developing physical literacy needs to be master at this stage – fundamental warm-ups. The Soul: - Fun! Learning and practicing skills through non-competitive games.

Oval ACCELERATE programs are designed to challenge all aspects of the young athlete by introducing them to an elite work ethic, the process of becoming a high performer, and providing the technical instruction and support to continue that process. The Science: - Rule of 10,000 and Elite Work Ethic – pushing participants out of their comfort zone. - Biological Windows of Development - Strength is ready to be formally trained after the growth spurt. - Practice to Competition Ratio’s – high volume repetition, more practice than game play. The Soul: - Enjoying the continued pursuit of your dreams. - Process No Result – perfect practice of technical skills even when difficult. - Positivity - Learning how to be an effective leader and team mate; using positive reinforcement as a default.
