The City of Richmond is located on Canada's Pacific Coast in the province of British Columbia. Richmond is a unique island city, favorably located within Metro Vancouver in close proximity to downtown Vancouver and the U.S. border. It is comprised of a series of islands nested in the mouth of the Fraser River with the coastal mountain range as a backdrop. The islands include Sea Island, most of Lulu Island, and fifteen smaller islands.

Rapid transit skytrain from downtown Vancouver can get you to the Oval in 20-30 minutes. You can stop at Landsdowne station and walk west along Landsdowne towards the Oval or you can stop at Brighouse station and take the C94 bus.
The Richmond Olympic Oval has several outdoor and indoor bike racks for public use.
