From Community Participation to High Performance Athletics.

One of the goals of the Oval is to become the world`s most traveled pathways from community grassroots participation to providing opportunities on the international stage for athletes wearing the maple leaf.

That pathway begins with community organizations.

The Oval is working to become the desired location for community sport, health and fitness. Moving towards this goal, the Oval has reached access usage agreements, including guaranteed access hours and community partner rates, with several community sport organizations:

  • Richmond Arenas Community Association (RACA)
  • Urban Rec
  • Adult Safe Hockey League
  • Panther Cheer
  • Metro League Basketball
The Oval is being used by more community organizations than you may think. Check out those in the community already taking advantage of this state-of-the-art centre for higher performance:
