The Court Zone at the Richmond Olympic Oval is approximately 55,000 sq ft of sugar-maple hardwood heaven. Plus add in the courts from inside the Oval`s 200m training track in the Track Zone and you can choose from:
- 18 badminton courts
- 13 FIVB regulation volleyball courts
- 8 FIBA regulation basketball courts
- 3 FIFA regulation indoor soccer (Futsal) fields
Rent the Oval’s Track Zone for your private event or games!
The Track Zone at the Richmond Olympic Oval consists of 6,782 square metres (73,000 square feet) of spike-resistant multi-sport flooring: the largest sport court of its kind anywhere in the world. The Track Zone is made entirely of Pulastic® SP: a spike-resistant composite blend of plastic and rubber that provides the consistent ball rebound, friction and shock absorption characteristics necessary for high performance competition.
The Oval’s Track Zone contains:
- 4 FIBA regulation basketball courts,
- 7 FIVB regulation volleyball courts,
- 3 FIFA regulation futsal fields,
- 18 badminton courts,
- a 200 metre five-lane training track and
- a 110 metre five-lane sprint track – a unique indoor training element found nowhere else in Canada.

The Oval rinks are perfect for:
- private skating parties,
- private hockey games,
- figure skating training and
- short track speed skating training sessions.

The Oval’s facilities are available for sport use rental on an hourly or daily basis. Rental rates differ according to time slot (prime or non-prime) and age group (adult or youth). Additional fees apply for use of a facility attendant, or equipment such as a score clock or bleachers.
