Yoga for Chronic Pain

An structured yoga program for those who experience chronic pain.

About this Course

This specialized class series will integrate yoga postures, breath techniques, mantra and meditation to help you get a handle on the pain you experience, provide you with tools to feel empowered, and ultimately help relieve chronic pain.

This four-week program consists of eight sessions and includes individual assessments, self-evaluation, deep relaxation, yoga and guided meditation, among other techniques. If you are experiencing low back, shoulder, knee or other joint pain, chronic headaches, or suffer from fibromyalgia, this program is for you.

The Instructor

Christa Funk

Christa has been an instructor and trainer at the Oval since its inception. She recently graduated as a certified Yoga Therapist with the International Association of Yoga Therapists (C-IAYT). She has developed group programs for people with Anxiety and Depression, Trauma and Post Traumatic Stress, Sleep Disorders, Neurological Disorders, Chronic Pain and more.
