Yoga for Anxiety and Depression

In this 6-week course we look at the science of yoga, its effectiveness and how to work with these tools to cultivate calm and promote peace even through challenging times.

About this Course

If you experience various levels of anxiety and/or depression, this program is for you.

A growing body of research shows that yoga may be an effective therapeutic tool for the prevention and treatment of anxiety and depression.

The Instructor

Christa Funk

Christa has been an instructor and trainer at the Oval since its inception. She recently graduated as a certified Yoga Therapist with the International Association of Yoga Therapists (C-IAYT). She has developed group programs for people with Anxiety and Depression, Trauma and Post Traumatic Stress, Sleep Disorders, Neurological Disorders, Chronic Pain and more.
