Using the applications of Yoga and its philosophies, Yoga Therapy is a specific approach for individuals or small groups to work in a professional relationship with a Yoga Therapist to move toward optimal health and well-being. Yoga Therapy is suitable for those experiencing a wide variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, chronic pain, chronic health issues, trauma, PTDS, or a curiosity to learn about physical alignment in an individual setting. Participants can expect to gain science-based knowledge and tools to develop a deeper sense of mind-body awareness, physical alignment and a sense of self-fulfillment.
Christa has been an instructor and trainer at the Oval since its inception. She recently graduated as a certified Yoga Therapist with the International Association of Yoga Therapists (C-IAYT). She has developed group programs for people with Anxiety and Depression, Trauma and Post Traumatic Stress, Sleep Disorders, Neurological Disorders, Chronic Pain and more.
