Spring Development Program – Powered by JMB Hockey 

JMB Hockey Development will be offering an exclusive spring hockey development program for rep level Bantam & Midget players this spring. This 9-week program has been designed for dedicated and motivated players ready to put in the work this spring to reach new levels of skills on the ice, and performance. On-Ice Skill development sessions will focus on skating, puck & shooting, positional skills, battles and small area games. Coach Josh Bonar will also be completing on-ice video analysis in a weekly group setting focusing on individual video break down of on ice skill components.

Coach – Josh Bonar, Head Coach of E15 BWC Academy Team

Following Josh’s time in the WHL he went on to play professional hockey in Europe and the United States from 2008 to 2014.  During the later part of his time in Europe he became player assistant coach for the Brasov Corona Wolves in the Romania/Hungary/Slovakia (Mol Liga) League, as well as the head off-ice coach and trainer for summer practices and throughout the season. Josh led the Mol Liga in goals and points two out of the three seasons he played in the league. Josh is currently coaching the BWC Academy E15 Prep team. Josh conducts several team and private skill development practices throughout the lower mainland for several minor hockey associations.

 Josh is also very involved in the video analyst part of the game. He is currently assisting the Vancouver Canucks Video coach with their video work and coaches challenge, part of the Premiere Players Group (www.premiereplayersgroup.com), where he focused on helping players achieve NCAA Scholarships. He is also a TruPerformance (www.truperformancehockey.com) Video Analyst.
