What You Need to Know for Your Visit

**Update August 31: please visit www.richmondoval.ca/welcome-back for the most up-to-date information on Oval operations including activity hours and duration and pricing.

Our re-opening on July 2 is just days away and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome you back through our doors. To make sure your visit is smooth and seamless, here is some important information to help you prepare for your return to the Oval.

Advance Bookings Only – To guarantee your spot please reserve online. Registration will open 24 hours prior. Each booking gives guests access to maximum one activity per day. The duration of each booking will be dependent on the chosen activity.

Participants will be given entry to the building 15 minutes prior to their booked session. After your session has come to an end, staff will assist you in exiting the building. We recommend guests arrive early for their booking, as reservation times will not be extended for any reason.

To view an itinerary of the activities available, please visit us online.

Health Screening – Public safety is our top priority. As such, guests displaying any symptoms of illness while on site will be asked to leave.

Admission – Members will have the option to reactivate their current membership or keep their membership on hold and pay a drop-in fee of $12.00 for most activities and $15.00 for climbing. Non-members may pay a drop-in fee or purchase a membership, which will activate on the day of purchase.

If you wish to reactivate your membership, please click here and submit the form.

Clean Hands – Upon entry, you will be directed to clean your hands at a sanitizing station.

Come Dressed and Ready to Play – Access to changerooms, showers, lockers, water fountains and towel services will not be available at this time. Please come dressed in appropriate activewear and keep the number of personal belongings brought into the facility to a minimum. Guests may bring a workout towel and a pre-filled water bottle or they may purchase water from the Oval Sport Store. Guests are welcome but not required to wear personal protective equipment.

Equipment – Equipment lending will be activity dependent. Please review the specifics of your chosen activity to see what’s included and what’s not.

Etiquette – More than ever, it is important that guests show goodwill, patience and kindness towards one another. In addition to following the directional signage in the building, kindly respect physical distancing at all times and abide by the Oval’s General Conditions of Entry.

While our processes may have changed, our people have not. Staff are here and ready to help as you adjust to our new normal. Please feel free to contact us at info@richmondoval.ca should you have any questions, or visit us online at: richmondoval.ca/welcome-back.
