Our Learn to ice skate programs are taught by experienced and enthusiastic ice skating instructors and focuses on the development of fundamental ice skating skills.
Lessons are taught in a fun and positive environment and aim to inspire confidence and enjoyment in skating. These programs are suitable for participants interested in recreational skating and also prepares skaters for ice sports such as figure skating, hockey, ringette or speed skating. Participants will be grouped according to skill level on the first day of lessons and will receive a progress report card at the end of the program.
- CSA approved multi-impact hockey helmets are mandatory for all participants.
- If you a returning Richmond Olympic Oval Learn to Skate participant, please remember to bring your report card.
- Skate and helmet rentals are available for an additional fee. Skates: $3.00 Helmet: $2.25
Programs Refund + Cancellation Policy
Registrants are eligible to receive a full refund if the request to withdraw from a program occurs more than seven days before the scheduled start date. If the registrant requests to withdraw within seven days of the program start date, an administrative fee of $25.00 will be applied to all refunds.
Please note, program refund and withdrawal requests occurring after the start of the first class will be processed at the discretion of the Sport Programmer.
