Rose used to believe that lifting weights would make her look bulky and less feminine. As she grew older she realized that she was looking physically softer and began training with a trainer. Through her journey, her perception of resistance training and becoming physically fit changed completely. Rose wanted to share her knowledge and took on the career to educate others with the same misconception. She became certified in CHEK Exercise, Twist Conditioning and Athlete Performance. Helping people make lifestyle changes, which also affect their family’s lives, is priceless to Rose. She wants to do everything to make her clients’ journey fun, less frustrating and successful that by the end of their journey, they too will become certified healthy people.
After rehab from MVA injuries, Pat’s lifestyle was transformed through exercise. During this process she uncovered her desire to help others and became passionate to share the natural benefits of exercise. As an experienced PT and group instructor since 2004, Pat holds multiple certifications and trainings, including Pilates, Yoga, Barre, Cycling, Exos/Athletes Performance, TRX Suspension Training, Kettlebells, Aquafit, FMS functional movement screening, pre/post surgery knee/hip training, and post stroke recovery. Pat is committed to helping you reach your goals, with experience ranging from active aging & weight loss to completing a 1/2 marathon.
Tim’s combined experience in the field of active rehabilitation, personal training, and traveling has broadened his ability to conquer challenges and goals for himself and his clients. As a Registered Kinesiologist through the BCAK, Tim will guide you through progressive exercises, postural training, functional movements, and practical techniques outside of the gym to help you get back on track in life. Having trained a wide variety of clients, Tim enjoys and takes pride in helping individuals achieve successful post-injury rehabilitation, improve body-image, enhance athletic performance, and pass the RCMP PARE. No matter your situation, his positive attitude will find a way to inspire you.
Ryan was one of the first eight people in Canada to be certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Tactical Strength and Conditioning Facilitator, with the specific goal to improve performance and decrease injury of law enforcement and other first responders. His training base encompasses those looking to gain muscle, lose weight and move better – whether you are a police officer, a 9-5 desk jockey, or just want to ‘be the best version of yourself’. Ryan has completed two Performance Mentorships through the world renowned EXOS/Athletes Performance, sits on the board of educational advisors with the Canadian Fitness Education Services, and is a prominent educator and coach. ‘Sarge’ is constantly striving to keep ahead on new developments in training in order to provide the best possible experience for Oval members and clients.
Linda has been actively involved in the fitness world for many years. She believes that health and fitness are all about building confidence, self-esteem and feeling great about oneself. She continues to develop her fitness knowledge through educational courses and workshops such as the Agatsu Kettlebell Instructor course, Exercise and Rehabilitation for hip, knee and ankle and Functional Movement Systems. She often works with Third Age clients that have age related functional issues. Linda’s passion is to motivate and inspire people of all levels, abilities and ages to enjoy and sustain an exercise program fitted to their particular needs, abilities and aspirations. Linda was fond of Martial Arts in her youth and currently works hard on her award winning Tai Chi skills.
Chris brings his fitness knowledge, life experience and appreciation for fun into all fitness pursuits, from private personal training to high-energy group classes. After returning to school for Human Kinetics in his 30’s, Chris has been involved in fitness at a variety of levels including academic and community support, equipment sales and service, personal and group training, and administration and management. 20 years later, his ambition remains the same – to help people get motivated, stay active and overcome any challenges in pursuit of a stronger, healthier life!
Jill believes everyone has the potential to find their strong, if they search for it. Her background in weightlifting and yoga allow her to draw from all aspects of the physical and mental sides of fitness. Her passion: helping people become more aware of their body, how it moves, finding their strength, endurance, balance, and power. You are only as strong as you choose to be, and by creating a solid foundation, anything is possible.

Nathan has a great level of respect and understanding for those struggling to gain traction in their fitness journey. His humble beginnings started in high school, with no sports or exercise experience, and he often wished that a fitness professional was there to help guide him. This was a catalyst for his own personal fitness journey, and now, as a qualified personal trainer, he serves to provide others with support and guidance. Nathan promotes a unique approach to exercise, focusing on everyday physical and mental experiences faced by his clients. His belief is that everyone can improve their life through fitness, and that under his guidance, anyone can find value in exercise!
