Celebrate your child’s birthday at the Oval! With five different packages to choose from, your birthday star will get to pick from the best that the Richmond Olympic Oval has to offer!

Package 01

Medals and Movies

Treat your friends and family to a private movie showing in the Richmond Olympic Experience Theatre. Choose from our catalogue of family-friendly titles, from Frozen to Fantastic Four, or ignite the spirit of the Games with a classic sports film.

Includes:

Two-hour theatre rental and 1-hour museum admission.
Cost is for 12 children. Each additional child is $18.
First 2 adults are free. Each additional adult is $12.
Includes a staff member to play movie, and take you between activities.
Maximum 44 people total

Package 02

Opening Ceremony Karaoke Party

Host your own opening ceremony with a karaoke party in our private theatre.

Includes:

All equipment needed for karaoke.
Two-hour theatre rental and 1-hour museum admission.
Cost is for 12 children. Each additional child is $18.
First 2 adults are free. Each additional adult is $12.
Includes a staff member to set up theatre, and take you between activities.
Maximum 44 people total.

Package 03

Gaming for Gold — Switch

Enjoy a larger-than-life gaming experience on our 14-foot screen. Take part in our “Mario & Sonic: Tokyo 2020” Switch Tournament or bring a game or console of your own.

Includes:

Gaming system, game options and 4 controllers provided in booking.
Two-hour theatre rental and 1-hour museum admission.
Cost is for 12 children. Each additional child is $18.
First 2 adults are free. Each additional adult is $12.
Includes a staff member to set up theatre, and take you between activities.
Maximum 44 people total.

Package 04

Triple Axel

Lace up your skates and hit the ice on your birthday by going ice skating followed by a trip to our Olympic Experience Theatre for our short film, ”Pursuit of a Dream.” Lastly, visit our Museum where you and your guests can go for gold on our sport simulators. This package is subject to ice availability.

Includes:

Skate and helmet rentals.
1.5 hours public skating and 1-hour museum admission.
Cost is for 12 children and 2 adults. Each additional person is $10.
Maximum 60 people total.

Package 05

Surf and Sand — Beach court

Hit the sand for beach volleyball or a sandcastle building competition, then ride the waves on our brand-new “Surfing Simulator.” This package is subject to weather.

Includes:

Two-hour rental of our beach courts and 1-hour museum admission.
Options for activities include volleyball, soccer, and Spikeball.
Cost is for 12 children. Each additional child is $18.
First 2 adults are free. Each additional adult is $12.

No party is complete without food

The Oval is pleased to provide your food and beverage needs from our exclusive in-house caterer, Truffles Fine Foods. In order to adhere to Vancouver Health Food Service rules, no outside food or drink with the exception of the birthday cake is permitted. Please note that full biodegradable table settings including plates, cutlery, and cups are $1.50 per guest. We can also provide limited settings – cutlery and napkins – for $0.75 per guest.
