Celebrate International Women’s Day at the Oval!

A climbing event for everyone

Get ready to celebrate International Women’s Day in style!

Join us at the Richmond Olympic Oval for a special screening of the documentary film Girls Gone Hueco. But that’s not all! You’ll also get to explore the Olympic Experience, Canada’s first Olympic museum, and try your hand at bouldering on the Oval’s impressive wall. For attendees of the March 8th screening, after watching the inspiring Girls Gone Hueco, there will be a Q&A session about women in climbing. It’s a fantastic opportunity to get motivated by the film and then put your new-found energy to the test by trying bouldering yourself! If you’re curious about Girls Gone Hueco, the film highlights five female climbers from the U.S. and Canada gathering at historic Hueco Tanks, Texas, to celebrate the incredible girl gang spirit that naturally occurs when a group of strong women come together. You can even watch the trailer here for a sneak peek of the action. Don’t miss out on this fantastic event that celebrates the power and strength of women!
