Gain coaching skills, volunteer experience and school credit! The Richmond Oval Sport Leadership Program is for highly motivated young adults who are passionate about sport and want to build their coaching and leadership experience. This is a Ministry of Education & Sport Branch approved External Credits Sports Program which allows you to earn volunteer hours in the Oval’s Sport Camps and school credit at the same time. Not only will you have fun with the kids in camp, this program also includes two courses offered through the National Coaching Certification Program:
Location: Richmond Olympic Oval with an online component.
Format: Assisting camp leaders with running activities for children’s sports camps. Minimum of 35 hours to be completed one week at time, full day and half day options available over the course of the summer.
Age: 15 to 18 years
