This program focuses on fundamental skating and introductory hockey skills, such as shooting, stickhandling and passing, through fun activities and games. All participants must be able to skate forwards with balance and control. Full hockey gear is required.
Continue to increase your child’s love of hockey and accelerate their skills in the sport. Each one hour session will combine lots of touches on the puck with increased skill repetition through 30-minutes of small games, followed by a 30-minute 3-on-3 game. Participants will compete in a cross-ice format. (H1- H4) Full hockey gear is required.
Athletes must be able to skate forwards and backwards (with balance and control) and stop on either left or right side. It is strongly recommended that they have experience playing ice hockey at an H2, H3, H4 or 1st year Atom level. Full hockey gear is required.
This program is best suited for participants who have the ability to skate forwards and backwards (with an understanding of the inside and outside edges), can complete basic crossovers and parallel stopping on both left and right sides and/or has experience playing ice hockey at an H3, H4 or Atom level.
This program is best suited for advanced level skaters who can successfully complete the following: forwards and backwards skating (with the inside and outside edges), solid crossovers while skating forwards and backwards, backwards stopping, tight turns and pivots. It is strongly recommended that the athlete has experience playing at a H4, Atom or Peewee level. Full hockey gear is required.
