Come in and climb our 44 foot climbing wall!

The newest addition to the Oval’s activity level is the 44 foot climbing wall. The new wall features three main sections: a 22′ beginner’s wall, a 33′ intermediate wall and a 44′ overhanging corner section. The wall, which features a mix of vertical, overhanging and simulated rock surfaces can accommodate over 45 different routes, suited to different skill levels and can be set up for top rope, lead climbing and bouldering.

Safety Waiver Form Required. Please download PDF form and bring signed copy to the instructor.

Due to Christmas celebration, the WALL will exceptionally close at:

  • 6.00pm on Friday 15th December
  • 4.30pm on Sunday December 24th
  • 4.30pm on Sunday December  31st

*Participants wishing to access the wall for climbing and belaying must purchase admission.

**Participants wishing to belay only, don’t have to purchase admission, but must pay for belay test and equipment rentals (if needed).

*** Minimum age/weight is 5 years old/25 pounds


Climbing Wall Drop-In

_dsc1741Drop-in climbing times will have one staff member on duty to belay drop-in climbers. If you do not know how to belay, or do not have a partner, Drop-In climbing is for you! Members can register for drop-in climbing over the phone, online, or in person the day of starting at 8:00am. Single day guests may only sign up in person once admission has been purchased.

Climbing Programs

20141202_193813The Oval offers a variety of climbing programs lead by skilled climbing coaches. These programs are for anyone ages 5 and up, included adult programming. Subjects vary based on courses and go from the basics to advanced climbing technique.
