Camp Offerings

LEGO® Stop Motion Animation Camp

Fill your week with action, adventure and a lot of comedy with Film Camp in A Box at the Richmond Olympic Oval. Mentored by master filmmakers, campers will engage in hands-on exploration of the stop motion animation process, including pre-production, production and postproduction. Working in small crews, they will learn about stop motion animation, set design, script writing and editing. Campers will then create their own stop motion animation and movie trailer using our Macbooks, 4K cameras and more. Movies will be presented at our red carpet, popcorn film festival and archived on our digital theatre. This camp will be supplemented with your favourite Oval Sport Camp activities to ensure campers are developing fundamental movement skills and enjoying all the Oval has to offer. This camp will take place from 9am-4pm for those aged 7-12 years.
